How to Fix your Chinese MP3/MP4 player's fake memory
Most cheap chinese MP3/MP4 players reports a fake memory capacity. For example while the actual memory is 256Mb it may report to windows a 2Gb memory. Loading files beyond the actual capacity corrupts all data.
Download the MP3 player utilities, install and run the MP3 Player disk tool. Select the partition and encrypt tab.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
* Drag the encrypted drive slider all the way up. You cannot set it beyond its actual capacity
* Now hit the start button and your player should be formatted
* Exit the application and restart
* Select the same encrypted drive tab
* This time drag the slider all the way down to 0Mb and repeat step 2 and 3
* You should now have a reduced but actual capacity stable USB MP3/MP4 Player
